The role requires a licensure to practice nursing in Louisiana, BLS-HCP, and at least 3 years in charge nurse, clinical supervisor, or nurse manager roles. Nights shift involved.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as a charge nurse, clinical supervisor or nurse manager.
• Valid license to practice professional nursing in Louisiana. American Heart Association BLS-HCP.

Responsibilities

• Ensures smooth day to day operation of hospital on assigned shift and coordinates services.
• Provides administrative leadership in the absence of administrative personnel.
• Establishes and maintains communication between nursing and ancillary departments for problem solving.
• Ensures appropriate staffing according to staffing matrix and unit needs.
