Job summary

West Pines Behavioral Hospital in Westminster, CO, is seeking an experienced RN to lead nursing units during full-time night shifts in a 144-bed inpatient behavioral health facility. The role requires a current RN license in Colorado and strong leadership in psychiatric settings.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school preferred.
• Current RN license in the state where the facility is located.
• Greater than 1 year of RN experience preferred.
• 1 year of RN experience in any setting required.
• 1 year in psychiatric/recovery programs preferred.
• Some experience as a charge RN or other leadership position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Anticipates census changes and allocates nursing resources accordingly.
• Model excellent customer service and prioritize patient safety.
• Enforce policies for delivery of patient and resident care.
• Ensure proper staffing, coverage for call-offs and vacations.
• Maintain accurate MARs, logs and nursing assessments.
• Coordinate care with physicians and diagnostic information; ensure consultations.
• Document medical and behavioral health information and nursing care.
