Job summary

Kendal at Oberlin is seeking RNs for PRN night shifts (7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.) in the Stephens Care Center. The RN will act as Nurse Manager in the absence of administration, overseeing staff and addressing emergencies during night hours.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Ohio RN license, SNF experience, and at least one year of professional nursing experience. Leadership and training duties are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must hold current Ohio license in good standing.
• Must have SNF experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience as a professional nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in the absence of administration during night hours.
• Coordinate and supervise LPNs, Care Partners and Administrative Assistants.
• Review and update resident plans of care and ensure appropriate care on admission/discharge.
• Review labs and reports, and follow up on abnormal results.
