BrookHaven Retirement Community is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) for the 3rd shift. The RN will supervise nursing care for residents, direct on-shift staff, and ensure delivery of quality care according to physician orders.

Responsibilities include administering medications, following BrookHaven policies, maintaining accurate care documentation, and coordinating with the care team to follow residents’ care plans. English literacy is required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with the State Board of Nursing is required.

Responsabilités

• Supervises nursing care to residents according to physician’s orders and directs staff on their shift.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by physician.
• Communicates effectively with residents, staff and visitors; maintains documentation of care given.
• Adheres to BrookHaven policy and procedures and follows resident care plans.
• Oversees operation and staffing for their shift and attends required in-service education.
