Job summary

Envive Healthcare of Indianapolis is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to direct and supervise care on assigned units, ensuring the care plan is implemented with safety and respect for residents. The role involves coordinating services, supervising staff, and maintaining thorough documentation.

The successful candidate will have an accredited nursing degree and an active RN or LPN license, with at least one year in long-term care and supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed RN/LPN.
• Minimum one-year experience in long term care – supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise resident care plan implementation with safety, positioning, toileting, and infection control.
• Coordinate and supervise services on units to ensure a homelike atmosphere for residents.
• Conduct regular rounds to staff and residents, including admissions and acutely ill cases.
• Ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect and policies are followed.
• Provide education, aid in care planning, and manage task priorities for nursing staff.
• Monitor incidents and complaints, document them, and initiate preventive actions.
