Grandview Medical Center is seeking an RN Supervisor to provide critical leadership during assigned shifts, overseeing hospital operations and ensuring safe, high-quality patient care. The role acts as the administrative contact during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

The supervisor coordinates patient flow, staffing, emergencies, and regulatory compliance, serving as a resource for both clinical and non-clinical staff. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Nursing is required.
• 1–2 years of related nursing experience required.
• 1–2 years of leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees hospital operations during shifts and ensures appropriate staffing.
• Monitors census, admissions, discharges, and bed utilization.
• Acts as admin point of contact during non-business hours and handles inquiries.
• Responds to emergencies and coordinates resources to ensure safety and quality care.
• Serves as incident commander in disasters until relieved by a senior leader.
• Supervises nursing staff and provides clinical guidance and delegation.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Completes midnight census and conducts hospital rounds to assess needs.
