Northern Manhattan Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Manhattan seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead the overnight nursing team from 12 am to 8 am. You will supervise staff, coordinate care plans, and ensure high-quality resident care with compliant practices.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN Supervisor, Unit Manager, ADON, or DON experience.
• Familiar with admissions, discharges, and care plan creation.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and resident care standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to motivate and manage a team of nurses.
• Compassionate, patient-centered and committed to quality care.
• Maintain confidential records and handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the nursing team to ensure exceptional resident care.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans with residents and families.
• Ensure nursing practices comply with state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Administer medications and document care provided accurately.
• Lead shift assignments and ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Provide clinical guidance, mentorship, and support to staff.
• Monitor residents' health, vital signs, and medical records.
• Respond to emergencies and assess needs for critical care.
• Participate in care meetings, quality initiatives, and ongoing staff education.
• Promote teamwork, respect, and continuous learning within the nursing department.
