Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a House Supervisor - Perrysburg Medical Center to maintain continuous patient care in the absence of nurse managers, supervising hospital personnel to ensure safe, quality care across units. The role involves assigning care, evaluating outcomes, and coordinating with ROC and other leaders for efficient operations.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN (preferred), an active RN license, BLS, and 2+ years of nursing experience with management exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current RN license in state of employment or through compact.
• BLS Basic Life Support required.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support and ACLS are preferred.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience with 1 year of charge/management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains continuity of patient care in the absence of nurse managers/directors.
• Supervises hospital personnel to ensure safe, efficient care.
• Assigns patient care based on staff ability and patient needs.
• Oversees nursing care and evaluates patient conditions.
• Escalates issues through chain of command and collaborates with department leaders.
