Job summary

Wilmington Treatment Center is seeking a part-time Night Shift RN to join our team. The role offers 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. with 2-12 hour shifts and every other weekend.

The position pays $36–$40 per hour and includes shift differentials up to $6 depending on weekends and nights. We provide a comprehensive benefits package through Acadia Healthcare. Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license as required by state employment.
• One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral/substance abuse is a plus.
• CPR, de-escalation and restraint certification required; first aid may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about conditions.
• Provide nursing care within established standards and facility policies.
• Ensure physicians’ orders are legible and properly transcribed.
• Monitor patient status and document pertinent information.
• Notify physicians of significant changes in status or emergencies.
• Complete admission and discharge processing accurately.
• Maintain therapeutic rapport and professional boundaries with patients.
• Coordinate unit activities and communicate with staff and patients.
