Job summary

Hartford Hospital is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join the Bliss 11 Step Down unit on a night shift. You will provide patient-centered care using the nursing process under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and medical staff.

The unit cares for patients with complex, acute medical conditions, requiring strong critical thinking, clear communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Connecticut RN license and BSN are required.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License prior to Orientation.
• BSN degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification required prior to Orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process to meet physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs of patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans on a fast-paced Step Down unit.
