Job summary

Hartford Hospital is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join the Bliss 11 Step Down unit. The incumbent will provide patient-centered care during night shifts, under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, and will participate in a collaborative interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities include care planning, evidence-based practice, safety compliance, and active participation in patient and family education and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License prior to Orientation.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN required).
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association required prior to Orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care on Bliss 11 Step Down unit.
• Collaborate with physicians, PAs, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Develop and update care plans using evidence-based practices.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
• Support patient and family education and discharge planning.
