Requirements include a CT RN license, BSN degree, and BLS certification, with orientation prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN license required prior to orientation.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association required prior to orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop and implement care plans.
• Monitor patients with complex, acute conditions on the Step-Down unit.
