Job summary

Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a registered nurse for 24-hour night shift. The RN provides professional and technically skilled nursing care, uses the nursing process, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, execution, and evaluation of care; administering medications and IV therapies; coordinating with care teams; and supporting discharge planning and patient/family education.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in good standing.
• Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
• ACLS within 1 year of hire.
• PALS within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to assigned patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Administer medications and IV therapies following hospital policies.
• Support discharge planning and patient education.
