Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to provide professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. The RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, uses the nursing process, and supports patient safety and high-quality outcomes.

Required MA RN license with 1–2 years of nursing experience. ACLS, PALS, CPI within the first year; device clinic and critical care experience are valued.

Qualifications

• MA RN license is required.
• 1-2 years nursing experience is required.
• ACLS, PALS and CPI within first year of employment are required/ preferred.
• Device clinic experience and cardiac/ICU knowledge are valued.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment and safe patient care.
• Administers medications, verifies dosages and monitors patient responses.
• Performs nursing assessments and coordinates discharge planning with the care team.
• Device Clinic RN responsibilities include interrogation, programming and follow-up coordination for pacemaker patients.
• Supports rapid response, Code Blue, and care for unstable patients as needed.
