Job summary

M Health Fairview is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Special Care Nursery at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury, MN. This 0.75 FTE overnight role features 12-hour shifts (7pm–7:30am) with weekend and holiday rotations and a comprehensive benefits package.

The SCN RN cares for newborns in SCN and on the floor, with postpartum duties possible, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support families through labor, delivery and newborn care.

Qualifications

• 1 year hospital experience, preferably OB/NICU.
• Demonstrates commitment to professional partnership model and nursing vision.
• Strong communication with patient/family and interdependent team.

Responsibilities

• Care for newborns in Special Care Nursery (SCN) and on the floor.
• Assist families throughout labor, delivery and postpartum.
• Coordinate plan of care using nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Participate in improving clinical quality, patient experience and nursing engagement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, infection control, and practice standards.
