Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Woodbury, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Woodwinds Health Campus on the Med Surg/Ortho 3 South unit. This 0.9 FTE role covers 12-hour Night shifts with an every-third weekend and holiday rotation, providing essential patient care alongside registered nurses.

You’ll assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, transport, and organize supplies in a 26-private-room unit serving hips, knees, and ortho cases.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required for Healthcare Providers.
• Six months of recent direct care experience in a long term, home care or acute care setting.
• Enrollment in an LPN, RN or Nurse Practitioner program acceptable with clinical rotation.
• Current Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry certification acceptable at hire.
• Completion of Fairview’s OnTrack Nursing Assistant training program considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with grooming, bathing, toileting, feeding and skin care.
• Record weights, intake/output, vital signs, and monitor patient condition.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges and orient patients to the environment.
• Promptly respond to call lights and support nursing staff as needed.
