Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Special Care Nursery. This part-time, night-shift role involves 8-hour shifts and 20 hours per week with every other weekend and rotating holidays.

The nurse will plan and render care, document patient conditions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support newborns and families. Prior NICU experience is required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Delaware
• 1–2 years experience in Special Care Nursery
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification within 6 months of employment
• RNC preferred

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital nursing practice standards and conducts assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Performs comprehensive neonate assessments and monitors thermoregulation, glucose, and respiratory status.
