Job summary

Beacon Health System seeks a Registered Nurse for full-time night shift (7pm–7:30am) with weekends/holidays per unit rotation. The RN will provide skilled nursing care per ANA standards, collaborating with patients, families, and health care teams to achieve mutually agreed goals.

Requirements include an AAS/BSN/RN Diploma at start date, BSN within six years, and at least 1 year in labor and delivery or SCN. A STABLE certification is also expected; candidates without experience may be considered.

Qualifications

• Must have AAS, BSN, or RN Diploma at start date.
• BSN required within six years; grandfathered for pre-2015 hires.
• Minimum 1 year labor and delivery or SCN experience.
• Applicants without experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with patient/family and healthcare team to set mutual goals.
• Diagnose, treat and evaluate responses to health problems.
• Evaluate outcomes and revise the care plan.
• Assess, monitor and prevent complications.
• Notify physician and document patient status.
• Ensure pain is assessed, treated, and documented.
• Delegate to licensed and unlicensed care providers.
