Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Med/Surg IMC unit (Unit 6) to care for pediatric cardiac, solid organ transplant, infectious disease, and other complex cases. The role offers a 0.75 FTE night shift with 12-hour shifts and every third weekend.

Qualifications

• MN Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS from American Heart Association or Red Cross required.
• 1+ year RN experience preferred.
• New grads with Pediatrics internship/capstone considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex care to pediatric patients and families.
• Perform advanced monitoring using current technology.
• Manage sophisticated medication and infusion therapies.
• Care for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures on the unit.
• Operate unit equipment safely and accurately.
• Bed capacity: 24; Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2 to 1:4.
