Job summary

Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services in the Piedmont Triad operates a 164-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital serving adolescents through senior adults. We provide assessments, psychiatric evaluation, medication stabilization, daily group therapy, and personalized aftercare planning with accreditation from The Joint Commission and CMS.

This full-time RN position (36 hours per week) offers a schedule of two weeknights plus every other Saturday and Sunday from 7pm to 7am, along with a $12,000

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college or university of professional nursing.
• Current NC State Nursing License (or compact state).
• Minimum one (1) year experience nursing.
• AHA CPR & First Aid.
• Knowledge of nursing assessment, diagnoses, and interventions with patients.

Responsibilities

• Nurse/Patient Relationship: Develops and maintains a therapeutic relationship throughout the healthcare continuum.
• Nursing Process: Demonstrates the use of nursing process as a problem-solving model and mastery of clinical skills related to mental and physical health needs.
• Assuring/Improving Quality Care: Facilitates safe, quality, and cost effective care while protecting confidentiality.
• Patient/Staff Education: Meets learning needs of patients and families and promotes education for nursing peers and colleagues.
• Collaboration/Professional Development: Works with the care team to formulate an integrated approach to care.
