Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized resident care using the nursing process. You will collaborate with residents, families and a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care across all stages.

This full-time night-shift position (12 hours, 4:00pm–4:30am) includes every other weekend and rotating holidays, a $1.25 incentive after 6pm, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and a strong benefits package. Minnesota RN licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment, resident education and various other nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to license and unlicensed staff, ensuring safe, reliable care.
