Johnson County Hospital in Tecumseh, NE seeks an experienced RN for night shift to deliver patient-centered care on the Nursing unit, including assessment, planning, and collaboration with physicians and staff.

The RN role includes supervising LPNs, documenting care, educating patients and families, and supporting smooth transitions of care, with a 36-hour work week and every third weekend.

Qualifications

• Nebraska RN license or compact state license.
• CPR certification required.
• ACLS and TNCC preferred but can be obtained after hiring.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and conducts nursing assessment and reassessment per hospital policies.
• Documents care and patient responses thoroughly in medical record.
• Provides patient and family education tailored to learning needs.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to meet patient care goals.
• Supervises LPNs and support staff in delivering patient care.
• Facilitates patient transitions to the next level of care.
• Maintains professional boundaries and participates in ongoing learning.
