Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System, located at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA, is seeking an RN to deliver high-quality patient care on a 7p-7a schedule with rotating weekends and holidays. Eligible candidates may receive a $25,000 sign-on bonus, shift differentials, tuition assistance, and parking benefits.

The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, collaborating with physicians and staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to safety

Qualifications

• RN licensure current in any US state.
• Current compact multistate license to work in the US preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required/within 3 months of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate nursing care and education.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessments to determine patient needs.
• Develop and revise individualized care plans with multidisciplinary teams.
• Administer medications safely and document outcomes.
• Evaluate patient responses and ensure smooth transitions of care.
• Maintain competency with current standards and equipment.
