Job summary

Sanford Health’s Hillsboro Long Term Care facility seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm–7:00am) with every other weekend and holiday rotation. A $20,000 sign-on is available for eligible new employees; new grads welcome.

The RN will provide individualized nursing care, coordinate with residents and families, and collaborate with providers to plan, implement and evaluate care within state standards. Experience with nursing practice and licensure requirements is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the state where practice occurs.
• Maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation for residents.
• Coordinate care with the resident, family and inter-disciplinary team.
• Provide education and care coordination for residents across all care phases.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to staff while ensuring safety and quality care.
