Job summary

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital - St. Louis is seeking a Registered Nurse in a Rehabilitation setting as part of a float pool for night shifts. You will deliver comprehensive nursing care, work with an interdisciplinary team, and participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for patients.

Ideal candidates have a BSN/ADN, active RN license in Missouri, CPR/BCLS certification, and preferably ACLS. CRRN preferred; six months of Medical/Surgical experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
• CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• CRRN preferred.
• Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process—Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to create personalized care plans.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient conditions to physicians, supervisors, and colleagues.
• Play a key role in discharge planning to support safe, successful transitions.
