RWJBarnabas Health invites applications for a part-time Night shift Registered Nurse (RN) in the Psychiatric Inpatient program at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, NJ. The role supports six inpatient units with 110 beds and emphasizes evidence-based, compassionate care.

Minimum requirements include NJ RN licensure, BLS; ACLS within 6 months; BSN preferred and at least 1 year in Behavioral Health Nursing.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license or Multistate license with NJ endorsement in good standing.
• BLS certification and ACLS within six months of hire; BSN strongly preferred.
• 1 year Behavioral Health Nursing experience preferred; psychiatric nursing certifications appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and intervene with clinical judgment.
• Administer medications and treatments with evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families to prepare for discharge and ongoing care.
• Document accurately in the EMR and ensure patient safety.
