Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for the Behavioral Health Unit at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ. This per diem night shift role supports the Emergency Screening department and requires a valid RN license and behavioral health experience.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma; BSN preferred.
• Active RN License or approved compact license required.
• BLS from the American Heart Association is required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
• Minimum one (1) year of current/previous Behavioral Health Nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Maintain safety and apply evidence-based practice principles.
• Identify and report safety issues and medical errors.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the patient population served.
• Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to appropriate team members.
