Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 7:00 pm–7:30 am night shift in the 2 W Progressive Care Unit. The role involves coordinating monitored patient care, cardiac monitoring, and adherence to evidence-based nursing practices within the Progressive Care setting.

Ideal candidates will hold a Michigan nursing license, BLS, and ACLS within six months; prior Medical/Surgical or critical care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed to practice in Michigan.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs purposeful hourly rounding including Pain, Position, Personal needs and Possessions.
• Applies the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and discharge needs.
• Provides professional direct and indirect patient care in the progressive care setting.
