Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Michigan is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the 4 C Surg Progressive Care unit at McLaren Flint. You will assess patients, plan individualized care, and lead care under McLaren standards during evening shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am.

Required MI RN license and ACLS within 6 months; two years in cardiac care or related units. ED or Cath Lab experience is a plus; telemetry monitoring and patient safety are essential to daily practice.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse to practice in Michigan.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a cardiac critical care unit or equivalent.
• Experience in ED or Cath Lab is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to McLaren Flint nursing standards and uses the nursing process.
• Assesses and documents patient status on admission and continuously thereafter.
• Develops written plans of care with long- and short-term goals and nursing actions.
