Job summary

Banner Health’s New Nurse Experience (NNE) RN Residency Program in Mesa, AZ, offers a full-time, mentored transition from new graduate to competent registered nurse in a progressive care unit. Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in the clinical area is desired.
• Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan care based on data and patient input.
• Develop, implement and revise individualized nursing care plans.
• Coordinate and provide direct patient care, delegating tasks as appropriate.
• Document patient status, response to treatment and progress in the medical record.
