Job summary

Advocate Health’s Carolinas Medical Center Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Charlotte seeks a skilled RN for full-time night shifts. You will provide and coordinate care for high-acuity patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

Requirements include nursing program completion, active RN license in the state, BLS certification, and at least 6 months of RN experience (inpatient preferred).

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• At least 6 months of RN experience; this position is not for new graduates.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to create a safe patient environment and high-quality care through evidence-based practice and clear communication.
