Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift to provide high‑quality patient care. You will maintain safety, participate in effective handoffs, and support collaborative care across departments within a faith-based health system.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), Florida RN license, and 1+ year of recent experience. Epic charting experience is a plus. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• EPIC charting system experience preferred.
• RN licensure required in Florida.
• Must have 1+ years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safe practice by demonstrating unit-specific clinical competency and compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Ensures safe and effective handoff communications and documentation between caregivers.
• Participates in peer interviewing and peer review processes.
• Communicates courteously with internal and external customers in person or on the telephone.
• Demonstrates respect for co-workers and develops positive working relationships with other departments.
• Participates in hourly rounding using the AIDET technique to improve patient outcomes.
• Incorporates Caring Model behaviors and culturally competent care into daily practice.
• Adheres to organizational standards for dress and professional appearance.
• Collaborates and demonstrates teamwork in managing patient flow, promoting timely patient placement by following hospital policy for admission, discharge, and transfer.
