Job summary

Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit on a 12-hour night shift (7:00 pm–7:30 am), with every third weekend. Responsibilities include assessment, planning and evaluation of patient care, and collaboration with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN or BS/BA in Nursing required.
• Current RN Pennsylvania state license required.
• BLS certification; ACLS required or obtained on orientation.
• Acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide total, comprehensive care using the nursing process.
• Communicate plans of care and patient condition changes to the care team.
• Complete admissions and assess/reassess using a multi-system approach.
• Participate in discharge planning and multidisciplinary rounds.
