Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia. This ICU role includes a 12-hour night shift (7:00 pm–7:30 am) with weekend and holiday requirements, and requires purposeful assessment, planning, and coordination of patient care.

You will deliver comprehensive nursing care, document findings, communicate with the care team, participate in discharge planning, and support patients and families through transitions.

Qualifications

• BSN or BS/BA degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN Pennsylvania state license required.
• Current BLS required. ACLS required or obtained by orientation if applicable.
• Previous acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides total, comprehensive care to patients by applying the nursing process in an organized and systemic manner.
• Communicates proactively to the health care team, plan of care, changes in patient condition, progress and discharge plans.
• Completes admissions using a multi-system approach for assessment and reassessment.
• Documents assessment, plan, interventions and outcomes per policy.
• Performs thorough nursing physical assessments and reassessments.
• Participates in discharge planning and multidisciplinary rounds.
• Supports grieving and end-of-life care when appropriate.
