Job summary

Nazareth Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit in Philadelphia for the 12-hour night shift. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure safe transitions and appropriate care delivery.

Requirements include a BSN or BS/BA in Nursing, active PA RN license, and BLS; ACLS is required or will be provided during orientation. Acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN or BS/BA degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN Pennsylvania state license required.
• Current BLS required. ACLS required or obtained by orientation if applicable to area of practice.
• Previous acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides total, comprehensive care to patients by applying the nursing process.
• Communicates plan of care and patient progress to the health care team.
• Completes admission using a multi-system approach for assessment and reassessment.
• Documents assessment, plan, interventions and outcomes.
• Performs thorough nursing physical assessment and documentation.
• Reassesses patient condition per policy and updates care plan.
• Assists with discharge planning and multidisciplinary rounds.
