Job summary

Henry Ford Health Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, MI seeks a Registered Nurse for the Night shift (7pm–7:30am) in the Float J unit covering Postpartum, Labor & Delivery and Special Care Nursery. Night shift premiums apply, with an additional weekend differential.

You will provide comprehensive nursing care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support discharge planning in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing.
• BLS Provider certification (AHA) or Certified Instructor.
• Graduate of an approved RN nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of delegated, interdependent, and independent nursing services.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary plans of care to ensure quality outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-discharge needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and discharge planning.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition.
