The RN will work in a per diem schedule, with responsibilities spanning medication administration, documentation, rounds participation, and quality improvement involvement, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and state licensure requirements.

• Proficiency in EMR systems and patient documentation.
• Demonstrated initiative in quality and patient safety improvements.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in complex environments.
• Must maintain competency validations and ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective nursing care across the care continuum.
• Administer medications and document care activities per policies.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team; participate in rounds and discharge planning.
• Identify changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Educate patients and families using teach‑back for engagement and safe transitions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection prevention practices.
• Enter clinical documentation and care plans in Health First systems.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Support precepting, mentoring, and onboarding of new Associates and students.
• Promote communication at the bedside and with the care team.
