Job summary

Banner Fort Collins Medical Center is seeking a compassionate RN to join the Progressive Care PCU on a full-time night shift. This mixed acuity unit offers the opportunity to expand clinical expertise and maintain an engaging practice.

Requires Colorado RN license, BLS, and strong clinical skills. Preferred ACLS and 1+ year med-surg experience. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and document in the electronic health record, rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in Colorado (or compact license eligibility).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care across a mixed acuity PCU unit.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments and interventions per physician orders and standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and support staff.
• Educate patients and families regarding care and discharge needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Uphold Banner Health's standards of safety, quality and compassionate care.
