Job summary

Banner Fort Collins Medical Center is seeking a compassionate RN to join the Progressive Care PCU on a full-time night shift. This mixed acuity unit offers the opportunity to expand clinical expertise and maintain an engaging practice.

Requires Colorado RN license, BLS, and strong clinical skills. Preferred ACLS and 1+ year med-surg experience. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and document in the electronic health record, rotating weekends and holidays.

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care PCU team on a full-time night shift basis. This is a mixed acuity unit , offering nurses the incredible opportunity to care for patients across a broad skill mix - expanding your clinical expertise and keeping your practice dynamic and rewarding.

Schedule Details

• 3 shifts per week (12-hour night shifts)
• Rotating days of the week
• Every 3rd weekend required
• Rotating holidays

What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care across a mixed acuity Progressive Care PCU unit
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans

Required Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado (or compact license eligibility)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of Medical Surgical or acute care nursing experience
• ACLS certification
• Experience in a mixed acuity or progressive care setting

POSITION SUMMARY

This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.

1. Assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs. Reviews patient history and physical with patient/family and assures completion within appropriate timeframe. Reviews available information obtained by other health care team members. Reviews diagnostics and laboratory data and reports abnormal results to the physician(s) and other appropriate caregivers.
