Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL, seeks a Seasonal RN for the Progressive Care Unit. You will deliver safe, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and standards.

The role is a 13-week temporary assignment on the 7p-7a schedule, with a pay rate of $60.00 per hour plus a $5 night differential. Requires a Florida RN license, BLS, and 2 years acute care experience, with ACLS/NRP/PALS as specified.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at time of hire.
• Current Florida or Compact Nursing License.
• Required 2 years full-time or 3 years part-time experience in acute care.
• Start-date certifications: ACLS for all units; NRP for Women’s Center; NIH for ICU/PCU; PALS/CPI for ER/PACU as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care per facility policies and patient-centered care philosophy.
• Demonstrates leadership and supports the healthcare team.
