Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the PCU – Progressive Care Unit in El Paso, Texas. This role provides direct clinical patient care during night shifts and includes supervision of staff as needed.

The RN will administer medications, coordinate care, and ensure safe, high-quality nursing in a fast-paced unit. Licensure is required; 1 year RN experience for PRN; BSN preferred; ACLS/PALS may be required by policy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Preferred: BSN or MSN in Nursing
• 1 year RN experience for PRN status
• Current license to practice nursing (state of Texas) and BLS; ACLS and/or PALS as applicable

Responsibilities

• Provides direct clinical patient care in PCU on a night shift.
• Supervises staff as delegated and coordinates patient care within the nursing process.
• Administers medications safely and per policy; participates in QI and infection control as required.
