Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence - East Campus, El Paso, TX, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the full-time night shift. The RN provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective nursing care and coordinates patient care using the nursing process.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current nursing license, BLS and ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable, and 1 year of RN experience for PRN status. Comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license to practice nursing in state.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and/or NRP as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, safe nursing care to all patients.
• Coordinate and integrate patient care based on the nursing process.
• Direct care per safety, risk management, QI, and Infection Control standards.
• Coordinate and plan patient care within prescribed medical regime.
• Administer medications safely and timely per hospital policy.
• Fulfill all HICS responsibilities during emergencies.
• Know and follow hospital emergency codes and procedures.
