UC San Diego Health is seeking a CLIN NURSE 2 to support the Medicine PCU/IMU on nights at Hillcrest. The role emphasizes autonomous nursing care, critical thinking, and patient-centered practices in a high-volume unit.

Applicants must have California RN licensure and BLS/ACLS; ART training within six months is required. The unit offers growth opportunities and a demanding but rewarding clinical environment for experienced nurses.

Formación

Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing; RN license in California
BLS and ACLS certifications at time of hire with commitment to obtain ART within six months
Minimum of two (2) years of inpatient acute PCU/IMU RN experience
Experience with psych patients and crisis prevention training
Demonstrates nursing indicators and critical thinking in progressive care
Ability to function in a fast-paced setting with strong communication and empathy
Demonstrated de-escalation skills with vulnerable/psychiatric patients
