Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in Chula Vista, CA seeks a registered nurse to provide direct and indirect care to patients and families on an evening shift. The role requires CA RN licensure and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, with NIHSS training and a nursing degree.

A 12/36 hour shift pattern applies, with weekend rotation and no on-call duties. The RN will deliver comprehensive patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support patient education and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing school.
• 1 Year clinical experience (RNs with less than 12 months experience will complete the new grad requirements).
• California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing -REQUIRED
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association -REQUIRED
• ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - American Heart Association -REQUIRED
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - Various-Employee provides certificate -REQUIRED
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association -REQUIRED
