McLaren Health Care Corporation is seeking a Patient Placement Specialist Registered Nurse for part-time night shifts (7 PM–7:30 AM). The role focuses on utilization review, admission status determination, bed management, and interdepartmental coordination to ensure appropriate level of care and efficient patient flow.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate Degree in Nursing, Michigan RN license, and at least 3 years of acute care or physician office experience.

Competenze

• Associate Degree in Nursing and active Michigan RN license.
• Minimum 3 years RN experience in acute care or physician office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and typing 40 wpm.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; 2 years hospital utilization review; 1 year leadership role.

Mansioni

• Assess inpatient admissions using criteria and advise site of service.
• Act as liaison to physicians by phone regarding admission status.
• Coordinate bed requests and transfer planning for patients.
• Manage room/bed assignments, admissions, discharges and transfers in hospital systems.
• Support utilization function with efficient workflow and processes.
• Orient new staff and maintain necessary records and documentation.
