Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical unit on the night shift. You will deliver nursing care within the unit’s scope, adhere to hospital policies, and follow nursing process guidelines to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, planning and implementing care, documenting responses, and supervising ancillary staff. Must hold a Michigan RN license and relevant certifications; ACLS/TNCC/ENPC as required by unit

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience in the specialty area may be required to maintain competency.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification as Healthcare Provider.
• ACLS required within six months of hire.
• TNCC and ENPC within one year for Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Assesses each assigned patient, documents, and evaluates their response to plan of care, and takes appropriate corrective action.
• Plans and implements the patient’s plan of care/standard of care and provides patient teaching using the plan of care/standard of care.
• Oversees all ancillary personnel for technical tasks.
