Job summary

You will apply the nursing process to deliver patient- and family-centered care, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with an inter-professional team to meet diverse patient needs.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care and cultural sensitivity.
• Effective communication and collaboration with patients and families.
• Knowledge of patient assessment, care planning, and discharge needs.
• Familiarity with health information documentation and IT use in care.
• BLS certification and NJ RN license are required.
• At least one year RN experience in PACU, SPU, Emergency or ICU.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, families, and staff to deliver optimal care.
• Partners with patients and families to identify learning needs and provide education.
• Uses information technology to monitor care processes and outcomes.
• Works within inter-professional teams to support safe, compassionate care.
• Supports ongoing professional growth and acts as a preceptor when needed.
• Participates in safety and quality improvement committees.
