Job summary

Kennedy University Hospitals, Inc seeks a registered nurse to provide patient- and family-centered care using the nursing process, addressing diverse physical, psychological, and social needs in New Jersey. You will develop individualized care plans with patients and partners in alignment with cultural beliefs and values, ensuring safe, compassionate, and coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care and collaboration with patients and families.
• Awareness of diverse cultures and ability to connect respectfully.
• Effective communication to convey ideas, needs and instructions.
• Knowledge of patient assessment and care planning.
• Knowledge of medication administration and treatment planning.
• Discharge planning and follow-up care knowledge.
• Knowledge of nursing assessment, diagnosis and clinical judgment.
• Knowledge of health information documentation and records.
• BLS & ACLS certification by American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• RN license in the state of New Jersey.
