Job summary

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma required for RN licensure.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care and cultural awareness.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and staff.
• Competence in patient assessment, care planning and documentation.
• Familiarity with discharge planning and post-discharge needs.
• Understanding of clinical assessment, diagnoses and evidence-based practice.
• Knowledge of health information documentation and safety protocols.
• BLS/AHA or Red Cross certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process while respecting patient diversity.
• Collaborate with inter-professional teams for safe, high-quality care.
