Jefferson Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient- and family-centered care at Kennedy University Hospitals in Cherry Hill, NJ. You will develop care plans with patients and designated care partners, ensuring cultural sensitivity and individualized care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_NJ (State of New Jersey).
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered practice, cultural awareness and communication.
• Effective communication and collaboration with patients, families and staff.
• Knowledge of patient assessment and care planning.
• Knowledge of health information documentation.
• BLS & ACLS - American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• BSN within 3 years of hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, patients, their family/designated care partner(s), and other staff consistent with Jefferson values.
• Integrates Evidence-Based Practice, clinical expertise, and patient preferences for delivery of optimal healthcare.
• Partners with patients and families in identifying learning needs and provides education in useful, understandable ways.
• Minimizes risk of harm to patients by following established nursing practices and protocols.
• Uses information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support ethical decision making.
• Uses data to monitor outcomes of care processes and designs improvements for quality and safety.
